Contributor Day is a day of teamwork, learning, and making a real impact on WordPress. It’s open to everyone, from beginners to experienced developers passionate about WordPress.
How Can You Contribute?
Open Source projects like WordPress thrive on contributions from people around the world. Contribution isn’t just about coding – you can help in various ways:
Technical Tasks
Test and report bugs in WordPress core software, themes, and plugins.
Create and send fixes for bugs or new features to WordPress core or plugins.
Design or develop themes, plugins, and share them on WordPress.org.
Contribute to WordPress mobile apps by improving code, enhancing the user experience, or testing.
Non-Technical Tasks
Write or improve documentation for WordPress.
Assist in translating WordPress into your local language.
Actively participate in support forums, helping other users solve problems.
Help create or enhance WordPress lesson plans and materials for instructors.
Contribute to the promotion of WordPress.
Take photos for Openverse and/or help curate them.

While Contributor Day welcomes everyone, we have limited space available in our halls. To secure your spot, you’ll need to register in advance. Stay tuned for more information from the Contributor Day team on the registration process.
