What is Contributor Day?

Contributor Day is a one-day networking and collaboration event where WordPress contributors—both new and seasoned—come together to improve WordPress and make it a more accessible and user-friendly platform for everyone.

This event provides an excellent opportunity for all contributors to work on various WordPress projects, share ideas, learn from each other, and give back to the WordPress community.

When?

The Contributor Day will be held on April 4th, offering a platform for anyone interested in contributing to WordPress—whether you’re new or an experienced contributor. It’s a day to collaborate, innovate, and make meaningful contributions to WordPress.

Why and How?

WordPress is an open-source project that thrives on the contributions of a global community. This collaboration ensures the platform’s continued growth, improvement, and accessibility.

You can register for WordCamp Nepal 2025 by clicking on the “Tickets” in the top menu and attending Contributor Day to make an impact!

Prerequisite / Preparation

No prerequisites are required, but we encourage you to explore make.wordpress.org before attending to familiarize yourself with the various contribution teams and projects.

Contributor Day will feature interactive sessions and team-focused activities where contributors can learn, share expertise, and collaborate. You’ll also have access to team-specific tables for personalized guidance.
