By Air:

  • Domestic Flights: Flights are available from Pokhara, Bharatpur, Bhairahawa, and other major cities in Nepal.

By Road:

  • From Pokhara, Bharatpur, Bhairahawa, and Other Cities: Kathmandu is accessible by tourist buses, microbuses, and private vehicles.
  • Tourist Buses: Daily luxury tourist buses run between Pokhara and Kathmandu, taking around 6-8 hours.

Getting to the Venue (Chandol, Kathmandu)

From Tribhuvan International Airport:

  • Taxi: A direct taxi ride from the airport to Chandol takes around 20-30 minutes.
  • Ride-Sharing Apps: Services like Pathao, InDriver, and Tootle operate in Kathmandu and can provide an affordable and quick ride to the venue.
  • Public Transport: If you prefer local travel, take a bus or microvan heading towards Maharajgunj or Samakhusi, then a short walk to Chandol.

From Other Parts of Kathmandu:

  • By Taxi or Ride-Sharing: Simply set your destination to Chandol, Kathmandu.
  • By Public Transport: Local microbuses and tempos frequently pass through the nearby areas like Lazimpat and Maharajgunj.

Climate

Kathmandu experiences a moderate climate throughout the year. April is springtime, offering pleasant weather with temperatures ranging between 15°C to 30°C. Light clothing is recommended, but carrying a jacket for cooler mornings and evenings is advisable.

Visa and Entry Requirements

Gratis Visa (Free Visa) is available for:

  • Children below 10 years.
