WordCamp is about the people, and that includes parents and children, too.
We understand how challenging it can be for parents to attend such events, especially when they have young children to care for. To make WordCamp Nepal 2026 more accessible and family-friendly, we have designated a Childcare Area where parents can take their children comfortably throughout the event.
A Space for Parents and Kids
This area has been designed as a calm and welcoming space for all parents to take their children for feeding, resting, playing, and taking short breaks. The area is easily accessible, with toys also available to keep the children engaged while the parents rest.
Here’s what you can expect to find in the childcare area:
- Comfortable spots for resting, feeding, and naps
- Air-conditioned space
- Nearby Bathroom
- Toys so that children can play
- Space for breastfeeding and diaper changes
Nearby and Ready
It is located just beside the conference halls, making it easy to access whenever you need a break during the event. If you have any trouble finding it, feel free to reach out to one of our volunteers; they’ll be happy to guide you.
Parent-Led Space
For the safety and comfort of everyone, the Childcare Area is a parent-led space. Parents must stay with their children at all times, as the area is not supervised by volunteers but by parents themselves.
By creating this space, WordCamp Nepal 2026 aims to be more inclusive and welcoming to everyone, ensuring that parents can also participate in the event while taking care of their children. We hope this helps parents feel more comfortable attending WordCamp Nepal 2026 with their children. We look forward to seeing you all soon.
