Madan Panthi is a Senior Software Engineer who has been wrangling code for over a decade, which is roughly 70 in developer years. He specializes in the WordPress and Laravel ecosystem, where he speaks to his computer in PHP and shell script to prevent sites from collapsing under the weight of too many cat pictures and simultaneous checkouts. Madan likes writing clean code while sitting at his notoriously messy desk and is a dedicated contributor to open source. When he’s not busy scaling applications, he moonlights as a part-time lecturer, teaching new undergrad students to write the “gibberish which makes the computer go beep-boop-beep-boop.” He is also a regular community attendee, trying to make an impact by supporting tech events, WordCamps, and hackathons.
