WordCamp is a conference that focuses on everything WordPress. As WordCamps are informal community organized events of WordPress enthusiastic from casual users to core developers. It is a festival of WordPress users where WordPress developers, website designers, online publishers, students, and teachers will converge to share comprehensive knowledge and experience and meet too.
WordCamps are offline events lasting one or more days. We are very delighted to say that the WordPress community is going to conduct WordCamp Nepal 2022 on November 5th and 6th at Chitwan Garden Resort, Bharatpur, Nepal.
Why WordCamp Nepal 2022?
The main motive of such events is to bring all WordPress enthusiasts together to give back to the community by providing a networking platform and sharing experiences & stories. This event will help you learn more about the WordPress platforms, make connections and find new opportunities.
Main Attractions are:
- Presentation and talks: More than 20 speakers from national and international will be providing a wide range of topics, from technical developer level issues to more educational. There will be two halls where parallel sessions and workshops will be conducted. You can grab and grow your expertise level.
- Networking and new opportunities: This is a golden opportunity for all the enthusiastic personalities who want to be a part of this event. Moreover, this event will enhance the opportunity to meet new friends and do some networking and find ventures for their potential career.
- Workshops: At WordCamp Nepal you can also learn new skills or strengthen your skill set joining the WordPress workshops.
- Contributor Day: The second day of WordCamp Nepal is Contributor Day. It is a special day designated for giving back to WordPress. Even if you are an absolute beginner with no experience and skill, you can contribute to WordPress. There are different aspects of WordPress where you can contribute, and there will be a team lead who will guide you through the whole process. This is a good opportunity to get to understand the idea of contributing firsthand and network with other contributors.
- Goodies and Fun: Yet another main attraction of WordCamp is goodies. At WordCamp Nepal, there will be booths of our sponsors and partners where you can meet different renowned companies’ representatives in person, connect, and collaborate with them. Apart from networking, at their booths, they host different fun games, lucky draw, giveaways, and give different goodies to the participants and winners.
- Happiness Bar: If you have any WordPress related queries or if you’re stuck in any problem, WordCamp is the right time to get it solved that too with the help of an expert. At WordCamp, we have a special help-desk which we call the Happiness Bar. There you can interact with WordPress experts one-to-one and get the solution to your problem.
- Close Interaction with the community: WordPress Nepal is one of the most active tech communities in Nepal. Since 2012, the community has been organizing WordCamps, WordPress meetups, and workshops in different parts of the country and helping people to explore ultimate opportunities with WordPress. By attending WordCamp, you get to learn about the WordPress community in Nepal and outside the country, be a part of different community activities, and build a strong career with WordPress.

The event is going to be held in Bharatpur, Chitwan which is one of the most happening place in Nepal. It is a well-known tourist destination.
