Abhishek Rijal is a professional WordPress developer primarily involved in WordPress Plugin development. Currently Working as a Sr. Software Developer at Brainstorm Force, he has been involved with Theme Review, WordPress themes and plugins development, customizations, and leading development of WordPress-based products used by thousands of users globally.

Abhishek is an active participant and contributor to the regular WordPress meet-ups and community events around Kathmandu. He has also participated in WordCamps in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Biratnagar as a speaker/Contributor’s day lead.

While not working, he loves to travel around and explore new things. Additionally, he engages in different social service projects in Nepal as a member of Lions Club International.

Topic: Block Optimizations – Developing optimized Gutenberg blocks plugin

Topic Description:
The session will briefly introduce development techniques for optimized blocks in Gutenberg. We will cover topics like dynamic and static block development, coding approaches for optimizing blocks in react, error handling and improving the overall performance. We will be looking into live examples, GitHub demos and real-time implementation of optimization techniques through a block plugin.
