Suvash Khadka is a dedicated and influential leader in the WordPress Nepal community, actively engaged since its establishment in 2011/12. Currently serving as the President of WP Nepal and playing key roles such as Community Coordinator of the WordPress Nepal. He was a Global Lead of WordCamp Nepal 2022 and has been working consistently as organizer and speaker in different communities at WordCamps since 2012.
Beyond his WordPress involvement, Suvash Khadka is a renowned figure in Nepal’s ICT sector, having received recognition and awards from the Government of Nepal for his initiatives. He’s significant contribution as an expert, senior consultant and member of various committees in the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Nepal Telecommunications Authority, Department of IT, NITC. He is a Cyber Security expert who has contributed at national/international level such as drafting national Cyber Security Policy 2023. He leads ICT industry of Nepal, as a CEO of the largest internet industry alliance namely ISPAN. Likewise, leads in FNCCI ICT Development Committee, CAN Federation, Internet Society, npIX, npNOG. He is working with World Bank, USAID for the Nepal’s Digital Foundation.
He has various professional certifications and works with a group of companies (part time) as System Analyst, Project Manager, Cyber Security Expert, Policy Analyst. He’s also a senior lecturer who has been teaching Bachelors’ and Masters’ level IT programs as CSIT, BCA, BIM, MSc. IT.
