Call For Speakers
29 & 30 January 2027 | Nepalgunj | #WCNP
WordCamp Nepal 2027 will be held in Nepalgunj on 29 and 30 January, the westernmost the conference has ever gone.
We are calling for proposals for talks, panels, and workshops from speakers of all levels, whether you’ve spoken at big events or never stood on a stage before.
Submit your application by 15 November 2026.

What Kind of Sessions Can You Give?
| Format | Length | Good for | Example |
|---|---|---|---|
| Regular Talk | 20 Minutes plus 10 Minutes Q&A | One clear idea: the problem, how you solved it, and what the audience can try themselves. | How you cut a client site’s load time in half. |
| Lightning Talk | 10 Minutes, No Q&A | One tip, tool, mistake, or lesson. Ideal for first-time speakers. | A plugin that saves you an hour a week. |
| Joint Talk | 20 Minutes plus 10 Minutes Q&A | Two speakers coming together to present a shared idea, project, or experience. | Two team members sharing how they built and launched a new featured product. |
| Panel Discussion | 45 Minutes plus 15 Minutes Q&A | Industry experts and leaders with different experience discussing one topic. | A freelancer, an agency owner, and a product developer discussing pricing strategies. |
| Workshop | 90 minutes, hands-on training | Attendees build something on their laptops while you guide them step by step. | Building a custom block or an accessible web form. |
You may submit up to two proposals. Please submit only one topic for each form. If you submit more than two applications, we’ll consider only the two most recent applications.

Who Should Apply?
Anyone with something interesting to share. WordPress is used by developers, designers, marketers, writers, freelancers, agency owners, teachers, and shop owners. If you make stuff, sell stuff, teach stuff, or learned a lesson the hard way, we want to hear from you.
You don’t need to know how to code or have presented somewhere before. We’re especially keen to hear from people in Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim, first-time presenters (we’ll help you along the way!), and women and non-binary people.
You can either speak in English or Nepali.
