The Call for Speakers for WordCamp Nepal 2027 is now open. On 29th and 30th January 2027, the conference will be at Nepalgunj, further west than it has ever been. Whether you’re a seasoned speaker or have never held a microphone, we want to hear your story. Proposals close on 15th November 2026.
A City at the Crossroads
Nepalgunj has been a meeting point for generations. It has the Bageswari temple so old and loved that it’s printed on Nepal’s one-rupee coin, and on every street you can hear Nepali, Awadhi, Urdu and Tharu.
It’s also a gateway. Tiny planes leave its airport for Jumla, Simikot and Dolpa, mountain towns still barely reached by road, while the border with India lies just a few minutes to the south.
Why Your Talk Matters
Almost everyone who builds with WordPress learned from someone who shared what they knew: a blog post, a forum answer, a talk at a WordCamp. Your session can be that moment for someone else.
Picture the hall. Students discovering that a career on the web is open to them. Shop owners about to launch their first online store. Developers who have crossed oceans to be here. Imagine what thirty honest minutes from you could start for them.

All You Need Is One Story
You don’t need to be famous, and you don’t need years of practice. You need just one story: something you built, something that broke, or something you wish you’d known sooner.
If you’ve spoken on the world’s biggest stages, we’d be honoured to welcome you. If you’ve never spoken anywhere, we’ll help you prepare. You can present in English or Nepali. Every session will be published on WordPress.tv, so your story keeps reaching more people long after the weekend ends.
